It's Spanish for....

The other day Andrew says:

"Mom, want to see how far I can throw this pillow?"

To which, I reply, "no".

He says, "Throw means roll in Spanish, so do you want to see how far I can ROLL this pillow?"

LOL!

Terms of Endearment

Mike & I fairly regularly call Evie 'beautiful, sweetie pie, cutie' etc.. Andrew has taken to using these terms & has recently been heard calling Liam 'Cutie Pie'!

Also, we've been reading a book lately with a collection of stories...one of Andrew's new favorites is 'The Princess and the Frog'. There is a line in there that says 'Open the door my one true love...' So, Andrew and I were playing with his rocket ship & he was having his astronaut get his pet alien, and he said, "come on my true love!" (astronaut to alien) :)

Going Camping

Today we put Evie in her Jumperoo for the first time & she loved it! She didn't quite get the whole jumping thing, but was loving rocking back and forth! She'd get going & Andrew would say

"She's going camping!"
(me) "Going camping?"
(Andrew) "Yeah!"
(me) "Do you mean 'She's going to town?'"
(Andrew) "Yeah! And then she's going camping"

LOL! It was TOO funny!! He kept saying it all night! I have a feeling that will be a phrase coined in my house from now on!! :)

marbles?

Yesterday, Andrew & Liam were having trouble deciding what to play. Liam wanted to play Hungry hungry hippos, and Andrew did not. His way of solving the problem...taking all the marbles, of course! I was listening to the boys try to work this out. Liam was asking for the marbles back, to which Andrew replied they weren't marbles, they were Pixos. This went back and forth for a while, and I was just laughing the whole time. Eventually, Andrew came in to ask me if they were Pixos...I told him I didn't want to hear it. :) So, he goes back into the living room, and tells Liam "I've changed my mind. I'm going to call them clowns. You want to see my clowns, Liam?" LOL!

Andrew: Mom. I'm going to wind up this YoYo with my sunglasses on.
Me (after he does it): Good Job Andrew!
Andrew: (big smile) See! I told you I could do it! Now I'm going to do it 100 times because I'm a COOL boy!
